About a month or so ago, we
reached out about participating in the regional summer outdoor gear
guide through the VA MTNS Outdoor Collective. The guide is now live and
we were excited to see so many local businesses represented in it. It’s
small but there are some cool items showcased, as well as some local
places to buy them. Click the link above to take a look.
I
wanted to follow back up because this is exactly the kind of opportunity
we hope to continue building through the Collective moving forward -
collaborative projects that help get local outdoor businesses in front
of new audiences while highlighting the broader outdoor community across
the region.

We’re already discussing additional features, campaigns, events, and
other ways to help spotlight businesses connected to the outdoor economy
here in western and southwestern Virginia.

One quick update: we
unfortunately won’t be at Rockbridge Outdoors Fest after all due to a
memorial service for the father of a close friend who passed away
unexpectedly. We were looking forward to being there and hope to connect
